What customers say?

“ To me, this is the best tsukemen in Aichi Prefecture. In terms of flavor, it's rich chicken white soup. Speaking of chicken white soup, it's a little similar to the tsukemen at Menya Inaba (Ibaraki Prefecture), which I consider to be the best in Japan. Kitake's soup has a sweet and creamy flavor from the rich vegetable broth and chicken umami, with a slight refreshing kick from mirin, making it a soup that can be enjoyed all year round. Most tsukemen restaurants are usually too rich and spicy, but this soup is excellent. It's very well-made. The noodles also have just the right texture, and I think they match the soup well. They have two locations, and the food is consistently delicious no matter where you go. They ask for a default serving of hot ramen, and you can even get an apron if you ask. The interior is also clean. I'm actually from Nagoya, but I often come here because the food is so delicious. There's no better tsukemen restaurant in Nagoya!! ”

“ It was delicious!!! The noodles were firm and chewy, and the soup was rich! It was a ramen I could eat until the very end without getting bored. This might be my favorite tsukemen of all the others...!! The staff were very polite, and the interior is old but clean. I'll definitely come back!!! ”

“ This ramen shop. I've been to the Kariya branch several times, but this was my first visit to the Okazaki branch. I arrived right when they opened for dinner. It was the end of August, and the ticket machine didn't accept new bills, so the owner gave me some change. I ordered the spicy paitan tsukemen. Needless to say, it was delicious. I thought I'd try it and have rice porridge if it was good, but when I tried to order rice, I was told they were all sold out. I don't think there were more than 10 people in the restaurant since the evening session started, and the rice dishes seemed to be super rare. I did sip all the dipping sauce, though. The parking lot is narrow and has a step leading from the road. It's also located on a busy street, so be careful not to hit the curb if you try to exit in a hurry. ”

“ I visited around 12 noon on a weekday. The restaurant was crowded, but I was seated without any waiting time. This time I ordered a medium-sized serving of the special Paitan Tsukemen. The rich and creamy paitan soup was full-bodied but not too heavy, and it clung to the thick noodles well. As you'd expect from a special ramen, it was packed with ingredients, making it a satisfying and filling bowl. I was also impressed by how smoothly the food was served, even at lunchtime. However, the parking lot is long and narrow, so there is a bit of space between cars parked directly in front. You may need to be a little careful when getting in and out when it's busy. ”

“ I arrived at the restaurant around 1:00 PM. I was able to get a seat without waiting. They said they couldn't accept new banknotes. There were two women running the place at the time, but they were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. I had the hot tsukemen, and the firmness of the noodles, the flavor of the soup, everything was delicious. I'd definitely come back. There is a step when entering the parking lot. You might scrape your foot if you don't enter slowly. ”

“ It felt like it had been a while since I'd had such delicious tsukemen! The flavor was rich, but not too heavy, making it easy to eat. The rice and soup paired perfectly. I brought my kids with me, and they were very considerate of their needs. I'd definitely like to return as a family. ”

“ The plain broth tsukemen is a flavor I really like! The char siu topping is also beautifully cooked after the order is placed. I think it's relatively easy for anyone to eat! ”

“ I visited around 12:20 on a Saturday. The counter seats were already full, so after purchasing a large portion of tsukemen from the ticket machine, I waited in the waiting area for about 10 minutes and then my tsukemen came out about 5 minutes after I sat down at the counter, so it seemed quick. The flavor was impeccable. It was rich, but easy to eat! It's a flavor that makes you want to eat it again. The extra meal I had afterwards was also great! The service and atmosphere of the restaurant were impeccable. I'll definitely come again. ”
